Abstract
Objective To categorize the aeroallergens that affect patients with allergic rhinitis(AR)in Shijiazhuang for providing reliable data to prevent and manage the disease.Methods A total of994 patients with AR underwent skin prick test with standerized NHD areoallergens.The results were then analyzed.Results The major aeroallergens that affected the AR patients in this district were Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus(43.46%),Dermatophagoides farinae(40.64%),weed mixture(17.30%),mugwort(16.49%),and dog epithelia(13.27%).Conclusion The major aeroallergen that causes AR in Shijiazhuang district is dust mite.Skin prick test is helpful to categorize the allergens in AR for further avoidance.
