Abstract
A herpetological survey was carried out southern Gansu Province,China from June to July,1999.Twenty species belonging to fifteen genera,nine families were collected.Among them,one lizard, Japalura micangshanensis is new to Gansu province.Fifteen species of them are components of Oriental realm,five of Palaearctic realm.Furthermore,the segregation of ecological niches among species were discussed.
