Analysis of Modern Service industry Development in Guangzhou

Abstract

This paper, beginning with reviewing the concept of modern service industry, analyzes the status of modern service industry in Guangzhou from the aspects of industry scale, structure and spatial layout according to the data of relevant statistical yearbooks in most recent years. It concludes that the problems existing in Guangzhou's modern service industry include the slow growth of its added value, unbalanced development, lack of talent and low quality and so on. Finally, some suggestions are put forward for howto promote its development.
