Abstract

In the silk manuscript of the Yi zhuan (Commentaries on the Yi),there are many sentences difficult to be interpreted. This paper chooses five of them from Chapter Yao (lit.,Essentials) and extends new interpretations related to Confucian morality and divinatory traditions.
