Abstract
Objective To study the application of continuous veno- venous hemofiltration(CVVH) on critically ill patients and the effect on serum biochemical analyses. Methods Serum biochemical analyses were performed pre - , interval - and post - CVVH. Prognosis of patients with severely acute pancreatitis or others were evaluated. Results After CBP, serum phosphorus, creatinine, urea nitrogen, and uric acid were low-ered; carbon dioxide was highered; anion gap was decreased. ( P 0.05,respectively) .CVVH can save time for rescuing patients, but prognosis of the disease was decided by itseif. Conclnsions CVVH was an effective treatment for the critically ill patients; It was advisable to applving it to the patients with severely acute pancreatitis or with systemic inflammatory response syndrome and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.
