Abstract
Objective To establish a method for determination of scopolamine , anisodamine and atropine in Belladonna tablets by RP-HPLC.Methods The concentrations were quantified by external standard method and RP-HPLC. Results The calibration curve for atropine , anisodamine and scopolamine revealed linearity over the range of 7.55~37.75 μg/ml , 2.32~20.88 μg/ml and 2.5~12.5 μg/ml .The average recoveries of atropine, scopolamine and anisodamine were 100.5%(n=3,RSD=1.3 %) ,99.3%(n=3,RSD=1.6 %),99.9%(n=3,RSD=1.4%) respectively. Conclusion The method is successfully used to rapid assay belladonna teblet with accurate, sensitive, reproducible and little sample needed.
