Compaction Properties and Method of Cement Stabilized Sand Gravel

The cement stabilized sand gravel is of high stability and economy.The compaction method in JTG E51-2009 for cement stabilized sand gravel is nearly the same with that for soils.For the lack of fine particles in sand gravel and the water permeability,the compaction properties is different from soils and it is diffcult to get the similar compaction curves like clay with modified proctor compaction test.The compaction property is investigated in this paper.Under the assumption that the cement slurry can fill any voids in the mixture,the compaction method Saturated Sand Gravel Compaction+Cement Filling Correction is established.
