The circumference and its variation with age changes of the adults of Dulong nationality

Based on the measurement of the circumferences of 200 adults(97 male,103 female) of Dulong nationality(including the circumferences of head,chest,abdomen,hip and limb),the changes of circumference value with age are analyzed,and then the circumference values between Dulong and other 17 nationalities in China are compared.The results are as follows:(1) The circumference values of male are higher than those of female except the girth of thigh.(2) The maximum of different circumference occurs in different age group.But most of the maximum limb circumference occurs in 30-39 age group.This is an evidence of the coherence of the growth of limb circumference.(3) In comparison among the same age groups,the maximum difference of the circumference values between male and female occurs in 40-49 age group except that of the horizon head circumference.(4) Cluster analysis and principal component analysis show that,compared with other 17 nationalities of China,the circumference values of Dulong nationality are relatively smaller,and similar with the southern nationalities such as Bouyei,Mulam,Li and Miao.
