Abstract
Objective:To enhance the understanding of CT findings of focal nodular hyperplasia(FNH) of the liver and to improve the preoperative diagnostic accuracy. Methods:Six cases of FNH confirmed surgical pathologically were collected and its typical and atypical CT findings ware analysed retrospectively. All cases did plain and multiphase enhanced CT examination. Results:In six FNH cases, the four presented the typical CT findings: central scar tissue(3 cases);obvious homogeneous enhancement in early phase(4 cases);dilated tortuous of artery(3 cases).Another two cases with inhomogeneous early enhancement and no central scar ware mistaken as HCC preoperatively. Conclusion:The analysis of typical and atypical FNH cases was helpful to understand CT features of FNH and to increase its preoperative diagnostic accuracy.
