Experimental research on coal characteristic of spontaneous combustion under various oxygen concentrations of Cuijiazhai coal

Abstract

For the serious hidden danger of spontaneous combustion of Cuijiazhai mine's 1 and 6 coal seam,experimental was carried out to study the spontaneous combustion characteristics of coal at low temperature.By setting different oxygen concentrations of the spontaneous product of the initial oxygen concentration,we try to find the oxidation process of the combustion gases and produce hydrocarbon gases with temperature variation.The results show that temperature is an important factor of the spontaneous combustion,the higher the temperature,the more intense spontaneous combustion;Spontaneous oxidation products increased with increasing initial oxygen concentration,13%-17% in the peak concentration,and then begin to decline.Research on the coal spontaneous combustion extent based on signal gases and critical value provide the site for developing basis control methods for spontaneous combustion.
