Analysis of the results of patch test in 178 patients with chronic eczema and de rmatitis

objective:to explore the characteristics of contact al1ergens in chronic eczema and dermatitis.Methods:178 cases Of chronic eczema and dermatitis were tested with a standardized palchtesting technique against contact a11ergens.Results:Data from these patients showed that the top were as fo1low:nickl sulfate,formaldehyde、perfume mix、to1uenediamin potassium dichromate、resin、rubber、mercury、ethylenediamin;The a11ergens causing eczema and dermatitis of hands were perfumemix and potassium dichromate,those for trunk and 1imbs were:nickel sulfute and resin,those for the head and face were:formaldehyde and perfume mix,that for navel eczema and systemic contact dermatitis were:nickel sulfate.Conclusion:patchtesting is helptul in identifying the property of contact allergens in chronic eczema and dermatitis.
