Abstract

The basic sensing principle of measuring optic fiber temperature and strain based on the Brillouin scattering distributed optic fiber sensing technology is introduced.The principle of BOTDR,BOTDA and BOFDA that based on OTDR are illustrated,especially for the principle and the typical systematic scheme of the BOTDR.the development and trend of the Brillouin scattering distributed optic fiber sensing technology are shown in detail.
