Abstract

Objective To compare the preoperative diagnosis accuracy rate of two-dimensional ultrasound and CT with postoperative etiology and pathology in the diagnosis of obstructive jaundice,to determine the value of two-dimensional ultrasound and CT diagnosis of obstructive jaundice. Methods To Select 190 cases of patients with obstructive jaundice treated by surgery, they were divided into the ultrasound group of 112 patients(two-dimensional ultrasound examination before surgery) and the CT group of 78 patients (CT examination before surgery)according to different methods of preoperative examination. To retrospective analysis the diagnostic of two groups and compare with etiological pathological diagnosisof post-operative.Results The diagnostic accuracy of the ultrasound group and the CT group (98.0% 97.2%),the diagnostic accuracy of malignant tumors(93.5% 93.9%),the pathological diagnosis rate of post-operative (85.7% 87.2%),there was no significant difference by test(P0.05).Conclusion Two-dimensional ultrasound diagnosis was equally important value with CT on obstructive jaundice caused by stones and the majority of malignant tumors, and low cost,be the best choice.
