Abstract
Through cationic modification of cotton fiber, the dyeing property of natural dye on cotton fabric were improved effectively. The optimal dyeing process was dyeing at 60~70 ℃ for 50~60 minutes with liquor ratio 1∶20.As a result, the modified cotton fabrics dyed with natural dyes featured good UV-protective effect, and its soaping color fastness reached 4 grades and the crocking color fastness was about 3 grades.
