Abstract

Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize in 2012. Since then, more and more studies about his works focus on Nostalgic, New histori-cism, Magical realism, the images of the mothers and so on. Actually, the Magical realism doesn't originally exist in his works.This thesis takes his two early works as illustrations to show the taking in, the development and the application of Magical realism.
