Abstract
Xiangfeiyou 785 was a new three-line hybrid rice combination developed from the cross between male sterile line Xiangfei A(introduced from Keyulong company in Hunan) and male restorer line Qianhui 785(bred by Guizhou Rice Institute). The average yield of Xiangfeiyou 785 was 8.85 t/ha,5.23% higher than that of CK in multiple-location regional experiment test for two years(2009-2010).The average yield was 9.87 t/ha,6.52% higher than that of CK for one-year productive experiment test in 2011 in Guizhou Province. The new combination is suitable for the region of single cropping of rice in Guizhou Province and has good prospect of utilization. It was registered as commercial variety in 2012 in Guizhou Province(accreditation certificate No.Qianshendao 2012001).
