Abstract
Jinyou 785,a new three-line hybrid rice combination was developed from the cross between male sterile line Jin 23 A and restoring line Qianhui 785.Qianhui 785 was bred by the way of cross and multiple-cross with good characters.The results showed that the average yield of Jinyou 785 was 9.62 t/hm2,9.27% higher than that of CK in multiple-location regional experiment test during 2008-2009,and the average yield was 8.85 t/hm2,5.27% higher than that of CK in one-year productive experiment test in Guizhou province,and the highest yield was up to 13.74 t/hm2 in high-yielding cultural experiment in Guiyang region.The resistance to rice blast,rice physicochemical indexes and tastes of Jinyou 785 were all better than CK.The new combination is suitable for the region of single cropping of rice in Guizhou province.It was registered as a commercial variety in 2010 in Guizhou province.
