Abstract
By calculating the boundaries between land and sea in the TM image of the Yellow River Delta,using mathematical morphology algorithm to remove the burr and identify the outlet,and improving the seed point of growth algorithm through the spectral characteristics of water,the fast automatic extraction of the Yellow River delta's channel is realized.
