Abstract

How to apply information technology effectively into the management of Chinese enterprises has been a disturbing problem in reality.The application of ERP is an especially typical case.According to the current situation of ERP application in Chinese enterprises,this paper reviews the development of ERP,discusses the key problems in the conducting of ERP,analyses the elemental characteristics and principles of Business Process Reengineering,then raises the viewpoint that the convergence of ERP and Business Process Reengineering is bound to be the trend.
