Abstract
The urban fringe is the area that its land use structure changes quickly.Analysis the land use structure,realize the land use situation are particularly important to land use planning and urban planning and the sustainable development of societal economy.Based on the land use data in Beijing(2006),the mathematical model is used to study the land use structure of Daxing District.The result indicated that the land use in the study area is very complicated,the urban fringe characteristic of the land use is obvious,the whole function of land is very strong,but the land use structure is unbalanced,the efficiency of land use is low and the land reserve resource is poor.
