Abstract
In the process of searching enemy submarine with anti-submarine helicopter using dipping sonar, the choice of lineup is critical to the searching probability. This paper improves spiral model, and the model is applied to the anti-submarine warfare using dipping sonar, and extents it to the case of two helicopters. It analysis the related parameters using Monte Carlo methods. The analysis result shows that this model owns better search efficiency.
