Abstract
The calligraphy of inscriptions on bronze,which represents typically the calligraphy of the Western Zhou Dynasty,plays an important role in calligraphic art,and thus is regarded as the original and model calligraphy of Dazhuan(earliest seal character) by later generations.The three works Da Meng Ding Ming,The San's Pan Ming,and GUO Ji-bai Pan Ming are respectively the representatives of the Western Zhou Dynasty in different periods.And to better understand the stroke,structure and orderly ways of the calligraphy of inscriptions on bronze in the Western Zhou Dynasty is the key to learn Dazhuan well.
