Therapeutic Effect of Compound Danshen Injection on Bronchopneumonia of Different Ages

Objective To discuss therapeutic effect of compound Danshen injection on bronchopneumonia of different ages.Methods From Oct 2006 to July 2008,141 children with bronchopneumonia were randomly into two groups:Danshen injection group and routine group(with no Danshen injection).We observed and recorded the disappearance time of fever,cough,asthma,Pulmonary rales and Chest X-ray shadow,and the length of stay in hospital.Results The disappearance time of above aspects and the length of stay in hospital in the Danshen injection group were significantly shorter than those of the routine group(P0.05,but P0.01 for3 years),with a significant difference between 3 years and 3 years in the Danshen injection group,but with no significant difference in the routine group.Conclusion Routine treatment of bronchopneumonia added compound Danshen injection has a clear therapeutic effect,especially in infant.
