Abstract

A copper ore containing 1.68% Cu with oxidation rate of 19.64%,in which combined copper oxide accounts for 13.69%,is a complex and refractory copper sulphide ore.As a result of tyrolite in ore with higher content,it is difficult to be activated, thus concentrate recovery rate was only about 80%.Considering the technical and economic factors, the ore is ground to a fineness of 70% below 74 μm followed by single flotation process, and it is considered to be a reasonable sorting process, finally the copper concentrate grading 32.23% Cu was obtained,at recovery of 78.48% Cu.
