Abstract
The mapping method of generalized Ricatti equation with variant coefficients is applied to obtain the explicit solutions for the(2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt equations.These solutions are found for various functions such as Weierstrass,solitary wave,solitary-like wave and trigonometric functions.Due to the fact that two or three arbitrary functions are expressed in the solution,there exists a large variety of localized excitations.
