Abstract

Many works regarding the explanation of Confucian classics in Song and Ming dynasty penetrated the neo-Confucianism, while the contents of philosophy lecture did not depart away from the theme of Confucian classics. Their relationship shows mutual involvement. There will not be true Confucian classics or true philosophy of Song and Ming dynasty if one left another. Philosophy is the logical product of Confucian classics evolution, whereas philosophy were rooted in Confucian classics and sublimated to a value and methodology.
