Abstract

[Objective]To understand the status of pesticide residue in vegetables in market of Longyan city.[Methods]Determination of pesticide residue on vegetables collected from free market was conducted in Longyan city from 2007 to 2008,which concerning 18 types of organophosphorus pesticides,5 types of organochlorine pesticides,4 types of carbamate pesticides,9 types of synthetic pyrethroids residue.[Results]582 vegetable samples were tested,pesticide residue can meet the national standard in 432 vegetable samples.The qualified rate was 74.23%.The qualified rate of pesticide residue was 72.19%,73.91%,75.00%,74.47%,82.50%,57.78%,90.00% and 100.00% in leaf vegetable,cabbage,legume,fruit vegetable,melon vegetable,bulb vegetable,cauline vegetable and root tuber vegetable respectively.27 types of pesticides were over the standard,in which 9 types of pesticide are not permitted to use.Many types of pesticide in some vegetables were seriously over the standard.[Conclusion]Pesticide contamination in vegetables sold in the market was serious.
