Discussion on DENG Xiao-ping's design features and significance of reform & opening up and modernization

As the general designer of reform and opening up and modernization in China,DENG Xiao-ping was honored as father of Chinese socialist market economy and father of Chinese modernization.His design has the following distinctive characteristics: emancipating the mind and breaking through outmoded conventions;seeking truth from facts and opposing Leftist thought and preventing Rightist thought;gaining a deep foothold in China and having the whole world in view;respecting the masses and drawing on the collective wisdom,adhering to the principles and adapting with the times;learning lessons from historical experience, exploring and innovating.So making a thorough study on DENG Xiao-ping's design features,thinking as Deng Xiao-ping does,carrying forward DENG Xiao-ping's spirit,firmly establishing the scientific reform and development view will be beneficial for us to hold on and develop DENG Xiao-ping's theory,to promote overall reform and opening up and modernization,and to construct socialist harmonious society.
