Abstract

【Objective】To analyze the effect of atorvastatin and sodium ferulate on diabetic nephropathy patients renal interstitial fibrosis.【Methods】96 cases of patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into control group received routine hypoglycemic therapy, observation group received atorvastatin and sodium ferulate therapy. The blood glucose level and renal function, AngⅡ and CTGF levels, serum inflammatory cytokines levels in two groups were compared. 【Results】The levels of GLU, BUN, Cr and UAER in observation group were significantly lower than that in control group(P 0.05). The serum and urine AngⅡ and CTGF levels in observation group were significantly lower(P 0.05). The levels of serum hs-CRP, TNF-α, IL-6 in observation group were significantly lower than that in control group(P 0.05).【Conclusion】Atorvastatin and sodium ferulate therapy could effectively reduce blood glucose level in diabetic nephropathy patients, improve renal function, delay renal interstitial fibrosis, reduce systemic inflammatory state.
