Abstract
In his Theories of Singing,Yannan Zhian of the Yuan Dynasty recorded the materials,singing styles,and popular music pieces of ancient Chinese music,analyzed various vocal music skills,and many other issues related to songs and their players throughout the ancient times.It is a historical work on various vocal music sources.This paper,against the background of current national vocal music development,reinterprets this historical work and traces its source to further the development of China's art of vocal music.
