Application of transvaginal color Doppler sonography in early diagnosis of tubal pregnancy

Objective: To explore the value of transvaginal color Doppler sonography(TVCDS) in early diagnosis of pregnancy.Methods: A total of 128 pregnancy suspicious patients admitted in our hospital during March 2009-January 2010 were selected.They underwent transvaginal color Doppler sonography and transabdominal ultrasound screening.Pelvic cavity structure and blood flow signal were observed and compared.Results:The results showed abundant and slow blood flow signals around the ectopic pregnancy masses.Pulse spectrum wave pattern was broadened with one or two persistence,and mean value of RI was lower than 0.4.Tubal ring,the performance characteristic of pregnancy in early stage was observed in the TVCDS center indicating that the oviduct was unruptured.Conclusions:TVCDS has high value in early diagnosis of pregnancy by detecting the special blood flow spectrum and the tubal ringexistence,thus TVCDS is an effective method for early diagnosis of pregnancy.
