Warm Acupuncture combined with Pricking Blood Therapy and Cupping Therapy of knee osteoarthritis

Objective To evaluate the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment on knee osteoarthritis and observe the clinical curative effect of warm acupuncture combined with pricking blood therapy and cupping therapy for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods 20 patients with knee osteoarthritis were treated with warm acupuncture( The acupuncture points: Ashi Poin,Dubi,Zusānlǐ,Xuehǎi,He Dǐng,Yīn ling quan,Yang ling quan),pricking blood therapy and cupping therapy. Results 11 cases had marked effect. 9 cases were effective. There is no ineffective case. The total effective rate was 100%. Conclusion Warm acupuncture combined with pricking blood therapy and cupping therapy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis can effectively alleviate symptoms of pain and stiffness so as to improve the function of activity. So they are worth popularization in clinic.
