Abstract
Objective To compare the effects of laparoscopy operation and laparotomy in patients with ectopic pregnancy. Methods The preoperative general status, operations result and future fertility outcome of 200 cases of ectopic pregnancies undergoing laparoscopy operation or laparotomy were analyzed retrospectively. Results Laparoscopy operation group vs laparotomy group:no difference was found in age, parity and preoperative serum β-HCG levels(P0.05);total blood loss[(170.45 ±113.72)ml vs(689.75±243.00)ml,P0.001] reduce significantly, total operating time[(61±20)min vs(85±27)min,P0.01] and duration of hospitalization [(3.3±1.2)d vs(5.2±1.6)d,P0.05] were shorted. There was no significant difference in the fertility outcome(P0.05).Conclusions Laparoscopic treatment of ectopic pregnancy is a safe operation method with less blood loss, and is promotive to the convalescence of patients.
