Studies on the Grafting Technique of Malus spectabilis

Abstract
The grafting technique of Malus spectabilis was studied from grafting time,scion part,the stock selection and grafting method.The results showed that grafting could be carried out from the spring(March-October),but should be pay attention to preserve moisture in the summer.The survival rate of scions from central section of the branch was the highest and that from branch base was the second.The survival rate grafted on ground seedling was higher than that on container seedling.The survival rate of topworking exceeded 90%.The survival rate of scion grafting and bud grafting were higher.
