Abstract
The effects of the grafting factors including methods, time, stock and scion on the survival rate and shooting rate of small Camellia oleifera grafting plants were studied. The results showed that the effects of grafting factors on survival rate and shooting rate were significant. The shooting rate of grafting plants bound with aluminum sheet was 34.1%,it was markedly higher than that of binding with grafting membrane. The lower grafting height was beneficial to survive and shooting of grafting seedlings, and their survival rate and shooting rate were 76.4% and 24.6%,respectively,when the grafting height was three centimeters.Grafting time had great influence to budding rate, and the earlier grafting time, the higher grafting survival rate. The survival rate of grafting plants grafted with annual stock was 87.0%,it was markedly higher than that of grafted with biennials stock, but the shooting rate of grafting plants grafted with annual stock was lower than that of grafted with biennials stock. The difference of survival rate and shooting rate of grafting plants were significant or highly significant among different stock and scion varieties and species. There was a good grafting plants cultivating effect by developing a small seedling grafting method with cut grafting, aluminum sheet binding, lower grafting height and annual stock in Camellia oleifera.
