Abstract

According to the geological and development characteristics of the heavy oil reservoir, the paper studies the development effect of horizontal wells steam stimulation by using reservoir engineering methods and numerical simulation technique, and also the sensitivity of geological and steam injection parameters on development effect of thin layer heavy oil reservoir. The results show that, oil viscosity is the greatest influence factor of geological parameters, and then the distance between horizontal well and edge water, oil thickness, permeability and oil-water volume ratio respectively. And steam injection intensity is the greatest influential factor of steam injection parameters, and then the steam injection rate, steam quality and soaking time.
