Abstract
To simulate industrial application of the removal of carbon dioxide with amine solution,a study of carbon dioxide absorption in monoethanolamine solution has been carried out in a packed absorber filled with spring type glass packing.Effects of experimental variables on CO2 removal efficiency along the column were considered, including concentration of MEA solution, liquid flow rate and gas flow rate.Experiments results show that increase of the MEA concentration has positive effect on CO2 removal efficiency, different combinations of liquid and gas flow rate have important effect on CO2 removal efficiency, and the essence of this phenomenon may be attributed to the effects of molar ratio of reactants.CO2 removal efficiency can nearly reach 90% when the molar ratio of reactants is over 4.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
