Abstract
Objective To investigate the mechanism of Losartan in treating hypertension and atherosclerosis. Methods The immunofluorescent quantitative skill and laser scanning confocal microscope (ACAS570) were employed to detect changes of the expression of PCNA, PDGF and c myc in cultured vascular smooth muscle cell effected through the Losartan .Results Under the observation of laser scanning confocal microscope (ACAS570), the fluorescent means of PCNA and c myc expression of VSMC in Losatan group were decreased compared with the control group, but that of PDGF had no changes. Conclusion Losartan possesses inhibitive effects on the proliferation of VSMC and the expression of c myc oncogene. This effect deals with the molecular mechanism of oncogene regulation.
