On Innovation Model of Ideological and Political Education in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract
The new characteristics of the students caused by the changes of educational environment have made great challenges to the work of ideological and political education.Because of the special sources of the students,there are disadvantages in con-ventional education pattern in higher vocational colleges.Compared with universities and colleges of undergraduate,the model of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges should include three main elements,namely,open-ness,humanism and practicality.Based on the students' characteristics,higher vocational colleges should combine theory with practice,teaching with managing,and improving the skills with strengthening the formative education to improve the i-deological and education.
