Abstract

In this study,the relative importance of social support for judgment of subjective well-being(SWB)was evaluated with questionnaire survey method.The participants were 314 college students.Among them were 173 females and 141 males.The results indicated that 1)the scores of female students of SWB,life satisfaction,friend support,other support and total social support are higher than male students.No differences of positive,negative affect,and family support were found between male and female students.2)Regression analysis indicated a predictability relationship of the components of both social support to the components of SWB.
