A Research on the Relationship between Subjective Well-being and Social Support of Middle School Teachers in Henan Province

Objective To explore the relationship between Subjective Well-Being(SWB) and social support of middle school teachers.Methods 659 middle school teachers were investigated by Multiple Happiness Questionnaire(MHQ) and social support scale.Results Middle school teachers have more positive affectivity and less negative affectivity,their total level of life satisfaction and SWB are higher than mean score.All indexes of SWB are significantly correlated with the subscales of social support.There are most significant differences in all indexes of SWB between the higher scores and the lower scores on social support.Subjective social support is significant predictable for SWB.Objective social support is good predictable for SWB.Utilization of social support is certain predictable for SWB.Conclusion There are significant correlation between SWB and social support of middle school teachers,different social support has the different predictable function for the SWB indexes.
