Abstract
Objective To study the characteristics of articles,citations and authors in Journal of Psychiatry(Chin J Psychiatry).Methods The data about articles,citations and authors of Chin J Psychiatry from 2004 to 2006 were collected and analyzed in terms of bibliomertic parameters.Results There were 293 papers published in Chin J Psychiatry during the 3 years and papers with funded projects accounted for 34.1%.The average number of articles per issue was 24.The rate of coauthor was 90.4% and the coauthor degree was 5.08.The papers with citations accounted for 83.3% and 90.6% of all the citations came from journals.The Price's indicator was 61.9%.Conclusion Chinese Journal of is an academic journal with high quality,which has strong social influence and is capable for driving forwards the establishment and development of psychiatry in China.
