Abstract

This paper expounds WU Changshuo's painting artistic thought, elaborates the content and essence of classic elegance and taste advocated by WU Changshuo, and explains his doctrines of painting momentum and of unifying poem, calligraphy, painting and seal\|engraving. It further points out the realistic significance of WU Changshuo's painting artistic thought at the present time.
