Clinical Observation on Oxiracetam Combined with Vinpocetine for Mild Cognitive Impairment in Convalescence in Patients with Cerebral Infarction

Objective To estimate the efficacy and safety of oxiracetam combined with vinpocetine in the treatment of cerebral infarction patients.Methods 90 patients with cerebral infarction and mild cognitive dysfunction,were randomly devided into three groups,each group 30 cases.Patients of A group were given oxiracetam(800mg/d),bid;Patients of B group were given vinpocetine,20～30mg added to 500ml of liquid drip slowly;C group were oxiracetamjoint vinpocetine,usage of the same group A and group B;The course of treatment in the three groups was 12 weeks.The mini-mental state examination(MMSE) and activities of daily living scale(ADL) were detected before and after the treatment to evaluate the efficacy and safety evaluation.Results There was no significant difference in the three groups(P0.05),12 weeks of treatment improved(P0.05),where C group improved much more than the other two groups(P0.01),the difference was significant(P0.05).Conclusion Oxiracetam combined with vinpocetine proved to be effective in the treatment of mild cognitive impairment in patients with convalescence and cerebral infarction.
