Alkali bleaching and dyeing of polyester/cotton knits in one-bath-one-step process

Abstract

One-bath and one-step process of cotton peroxide bleaching and polyester dyeing was carried out on polyester/cotton knits with Disperse Violet HFRL and Brilliant Blue 2BLN,as well as alkaline dyeing auxiliary HK-2008.The dyed fabric featured lower strength and weight loss,brilliant shade and soft handle.Compared with traditional two-bath process,the new process shortened the production cycles,and reduced chemical consumption and dyeing cost.
