Abstract

When researching Meng Dongye's early years,we should combine his family situation,politics and culture in Wu and Yue District at that time,his communication and travel,etc.By analyzing we know that Meng Dongye studied in the south of the Yangtze River centring around Huzhou in his early years.As to the thing about being a hermit in Songshan,which was mentioned in two Tang Books,people didn't believe it.
