Abstract
Objective: To investigate the semen quality of the adult males in Chengdu.Methods: The semen parameters of the samples of 2570 adult males were analyzed strictly following the World Health Organization(WHO) guide.Results: Of the 2570 semen samples,2272(2272/2570,88.4%) are abnormal quality,including 193(7.5%) Azoospermia,and 66(2.5%) Oligozoospermia.While only 298(11.6%) are normal.Conclusion: Analyzing the quality of semen accurately is important to evaluate male fertility,especially computer-aided sperm analysis(CASA) coupled with spermatozoa morphology count can provide the powerful evidence for the male infertility's diagnose and treatment.
