Abstract
The higher industry education came into being in late Qing dynasty had grown into a certain system and size, whose educational elements, such as teaching contents and training objectives embodied the characteristics of modern education to some extent. Several higher industry education institutions established that time had went down to today, and produced great influence on the structure and distribution of higher education today. But influencing by the factors such as short running time, weak educational foundation and incomplete updating of teaching concepts, there appeared many obvious shortcomings in higher industry education of late Qing dynasty, such as lack of fund, bad effect, etc.
