Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the intervention effect of therapy of invigorating qi and nourishing yin on tumor immune escape. Methods: In the perspective randomized control study, sixty cases of advanced none-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with deficiency of both qi and yin were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group(n=30) and control group(n=30).Treatment group was given Feiji Recipe in combination with chemotherapy, and control group received chemotherapy only. The efficacies were assessed by short-term efficacy, Karnofsky performance score, the change of symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine. The change of levels of CD4+CD25+Tr, IL-10, VEGF, sCD44v6 and TGFβ1 in peripheral blood were observed. Results: In comparison with chemotherapy, therapy of invigorating qi and nourishing yin down-regulated the levels of CD4+CD25+Tr, VEGF, sCD44v6, TGFβ1, IL-10, improved the short-term efficacy, Karnofsky performance scores and symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine. Conclusions: Therapy of invigorating qi and nourishing yin may intervene in tumor immune escape of patients with NSCLC on multi-pathway.
