Abstract

[Objective]To study the situation of HBeAg of HBsAg carriers in the service industry of Ju counly in 2009.[Methods]Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method was used to evaluate serum HBsAg and HBeAg level of 2 536 employees in the service industry.[Results]129 out of 2 536 were detected to be carriers of HbsAg,with positive rate 5.09%.Among them,24 were also detected to be HBeAg-positive simultaneously,with positive rate 0.95%.The HBsAg positive rate of males was higher than that of females,and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The difference of HBsAg carriage rate in different occupational groups had no statistical significance(P0.05).[Conclusion]Strengthen management and close detection of serum HBsAg and HBeAg for service industry employees should be paid more attention which will bring important social benefits.
